Senior Partnership Officer

We are looking for a motivated and energetic candidate who has a passion in serving the underprivileged children.

Responsibilities and duties:

Working in the Corporate & Institutional Partnership Department, the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include but not necessarily be limited to the following areas:

  • Identify suitable funding opportunities from foundations or institutional donors for Plan International HK’s local, mainland and oversea programme and produce concept papers and donor proposals for funding application
  • Liaise with the country office to ensure an efficient and impactful programme design, desired outcomes and monitoring and evaluation system in all project proposals
  • Undertake timely and quality reporting for donors with close collaboration with Plan’s country offices
  • Undertake routine project monitoring visits for our funded programmes overseas to ensure ongoing project excellence, governance and impact
  • Cultivate and maintain good working relationship with potential or existing foundations or institutional donors
  • Support the department to develop the strategic plan and annual plan
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

 

Requirements:

  • A Recognized degree in development studies or relevant social science discipline
  • Minimum 4 years of solid programme and project management experience, including in different countries or regions, and preferably for development programmes
  • Knowledge in early childhood development and child protection is preferable
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and/or grant making experience is preferable
  • Passionate on development issues especially regarding to child rights in the regional, national and local contexts
  • Maintain an awareness of political, gender and cultural sensitivities in strategic thinking and programming
  • Effective interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Good team work player
  • Have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin and Cantonese)
  • English requirement – Preferable with Grade C or above in HKCEE (Syl. B) / 7 or above in IELTS
  • Occasional travel to remote area of developing countries is necessary
  • Agree with Plan’s mission and vision and observe strictly to data privacy and child safeguarding policies
