Mission of the position

• General managing Donna RTW Buying, Merchandising, Stock Planning and Product Training of all stores to maximize the sales and achieve healthy Sell-Through.

• Specifically in charge of Buying/Product Selection for 6 flagship stores located in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for Donna RTW OTB planning, buying, budget allocation and merchandise selection to ensure buying direction reflect the company’s strategy and ensure the product selection on Donna RTW meet the markets demands and opportunities.

• Analyze Donna RTW Sales Performance and propose action plan to mitigate risk, maximize sales and sell-through.

• Conduct fashion trend, product knowledge training and mix& match to frontline staff including seasonal product presentation and in-store briefing.

• Frequent communication with retail and frequent store visit – at least 1 or 2 visit to each store per season to recap sales performance and product feedback; coordinate closely with Retail and Visual in the store to make sure to delivery the right message, the key items and key categories are emphasized to support the store to meet target at the same time the store image remain impeccable and in line with the company’s guideline.

• Collaborate closely with PR on events and store initiatives; pushing key investments and push slow-movers.

• Monitor delivery, shipment status, store inventory and stock cover; give clear direction on stock consolidation and supervise subordinates to complete consolidation efficiently. Monitor sales trend to propose reorder.

• Have good knowledge of the client database especially top VIPs. Supervise subordinates on customer request.

• Supervise subordinates on defective claims and other administrative duties.

• Lead the Buyer, Assistant Buyer and Merchandising Assistant with their team responsibilities to develop better skillset and achieve higher KPI.

Job Qualifications & Specifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a merchandising or buying,
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and reporting skill.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• Experience in luxury retail is preferred
• Good command of spoken and written in English, Chinese and Mandarin
• Dynamic with passion in our brand
• A good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Independent , and able to work under pressure
