Job Summary and Mission
This job contributes to Starbucks success by executing market strategic marketing plans with focus on increasing sales, supporting company growth and creating local value and applicability for the Starbucks brand. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensuring excellent implementation and amplification of national marketing programs.
- Lead and support new store opening and new city entry in assigned cities.
- Assists in developing and managing sales, marketing, and financial plans and reporting with S. China cross functional teams and SHSC marketing team.
- Ensures communication of consumer marketing and retail marketing plans and projects to operations teams.
- Supports to implement marketing and category initiatives, including in advertising and signage production, promotion communication, sales analysis etc.
- Assist senior manager in planning and managing regional marketing budgets.
Summary of Experience
- More than 3-year consumer packaged goods brand marketing, retail marketing
- Project management is highly preferred
- Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Organization and planning skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, in both English and Chinese
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Analytical skills
- Ability to lead or assist leadership on cross-functional projects and teams
- Ability to work in details
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of marketing and communications fundamentals
