We need a UX Design leader with a strong background in solving business problems to create innovative digital experiences that help enterprises work simpler and smarter. Your primary mission will be to understand the business needs and product requirements and transform that understanding into user-focused and intuitive products and interfaces for mobile and web.

What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with your peers in product management and product development to understand the industry solutions, customers who use it, empathize with them, and imagine creative ways we can make their work lives dramatically better.
- You will be responsible for delivering design artifacts (high-fidelity designs, navigation patterns, CSS, HTML) to the engineering teams.
- You will be embedded into the scrum teams to clarify and refine the designs.
- You will work with other UX teams within Oracle to ensure alignment across products and product families.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of proven UI design experience producing engaging, usable, and effective design solutions
- Prior experience leading a UX design team
- Must have the ability to understand complicated concepts and translate them to effective application designs
- Experience collaborating with product managers and engineering on defining and implementing user interfaces and interaction designs, with teams operating across time zones
- Proficiency with standard design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, etc., to develop low and high-fidelity prototypes
- Proficiency with HTML and CSS
- Organized, self-directed and comfortable working with on multiple projects with tight deadlines
As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.
Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
