This role is to help create, inform, and drive the advancement of critical & differentiating capabilities across the Own Brand Sourcing and Development organization which represent high value and profit for Target.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for supporting 1 or more broad based client groups that may represent a wide variety of capability implementation and/or work that aligns to Enterprise Key Initiatives.
Lead & deliver projects with high complexity in either scope, scale, delivery speed, organizational impact, level of influence required, etc. May often oversee multiple work streams within larger project scope.
Leverages thought leadership and strong communication skills to influence peers & leaders in all global locations, including HQ, to achieve project deliverables and advance critical capabilities. Will have exposure working with and influencing senior leaders.
May be responsible for playing the product owner role in capability projects needing technology builds. Use business case development or vision/user story creation to drive advancement of technology in new ‘product’ (system/tool) development. Understands dependencies and ensures connectivity to support holistic & synergistic solutions for the organization.
Responsible for engaging with a high number of cross-functional partners and/or partners with a high level of complexity within their own organization. Develop cross-functional solutions.
Drive connectivity of interrelated strategies across the portfolio of the organization.
Measurements of success will be the ability to drive change in behaviors and organizational culture.
Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress. Able to develop change management plans
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years of project/program management – cross-departmental projects with high number of interdependencies, strong detail orientation & knowledge of program management tools
Ability to communicate with all levels of Management
Strong leadership & thought leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively and influence others to achieve a common objective
Strong problem solving & analytical ability
Ability to translate complex concepts into simple, clear communications & story-telling
Strong organizational & multi-tasking ability
Strong adaptability & resiliency skills. The work is dynamic and the ability to change directions seamlessly is critical
- Ability to deal with ambiguities and work in a highly matrix environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent application skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project)
