This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the Authority’s medium and long-term development projects are undertaken to the best practice in engineering standards. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring effective and efficient project management of a large volume of structural steelwork and roof cladding;
• Managing all aspects of safety, quality, progress and budget requirements for the steelwork and cladding construction;
• Managing interfaces with other trades;
• Management of the 3D steelwork models; and
• Proactively identifying design and construction interface problems, investigating alternatives with designers and contractors and liaising with project stakeholders to produce effective solutions
  
  

Requirements:       

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil / Structural Engineering or other related disciplines
• Member of HKIE or other equivalent professional bodies
• At least 15 years’ relevant experience, of which a minimum of 8 years should be in project management
• Solid experience in management of complex steelwork in large scale multi-disciplinary building projects
• Experience in 3D modelling of building projects
• Familiar with statutory processing
• Excellent leadership, problem solving and communication skills
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office applications and project management software tools
