YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Manager CATI Contracts Rebates & Pricing, are to:
- Direct accountability for cost, quality, process efficiency, accuracy, control and cycle time of administering ~ $1 Bio USD annually in combined commercial rebate and chargeback contracts, and pricing administration supporting >$6 Bio USD in annual sales . This responsibility includes development and cultivation of key trade and process partners relationships, including with Bayer’s largest and most important global customers;
- Provides operational direction and strategic drive to deliver results through a network of employees, 3rd parties and shared service colleagues on broad and crucial subject areas: Contracting and Commercial Rebate Administration, Chargeback Administration, and Pricing Administration. Enables current and future capability to efficiently support Bayer’s dynamic healthcare portfolio;
- Serves on Pricing Committees in Pharma and frequently represents Bayer in internal and external industry and customer forums as subject matter expert;
- Networks globally in Bayer to develop, experiment and innovate with ever more agile and customer-focused Global processes Serve as primary Order to Cash (O2C) functional liaison to complementary headquarters functions and processes such as Pricing Strategy, Contract Strategy, Market Access, Government Reporting and Others;
- Regularly initiates, champions, leads and participates as a team member on often complex process improvement efforts that span multiple business and functions
- Regularly provides detail and guidance to Business Unit Controllers and Accounting on Gross-to-Net forecasts and reserves;
- Assess and define areas of technological advancement, including key trends and metrics;
- Quantifies and drives financial value, visibility, accountability and rigor across the O2C and commercial value-chain
- Select, motivate, develop, lead and manage people to ensure success of direct reports, teams and the larger Bayer talent pool.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with minimum 12 years of experience; or Masters Degree with 10 years of experience;
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated progressive leadership/management responsibility, managing cross-functional teams is required;
- Must demonstrate proficiency in and have specific knowledge and experience with US healthcare industry, major customer pricing and administration, Federal and State Government program administration (Medicare, Medicaid, 340B, Orphan Drug, etc), and managed healthcare in US;
- Must demonstrate proficiency and have specific knowledge and experience in finance, accounting, internal control systems and processes, business analysis, process improvement and core transactional tools and concepts;
- Must be diplomatic, persuasive and able to establish good rapport with full spectrum of internal and external partners, from operators to Sr. Executives, both inside and outside the company;
- Must consistently demonstrate knowledge beyond the key subject areas and be recognized as a connector of key technical/subject information with larger business goals;
- Exhibits superior communication and influencing skills: oral, written, listening and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to teach, train and grow capability of others;
- Able to effectively lead in a team or multi-team environment, leading and influencing across complex organizations;
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience writing and administering contracts within US Healthcare industry strongly preferred;
- Experience within Top Tier Healthcare or Consumer Products Company.
