What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for leading a team and managing the Curriculum for the Integrated Specialty Sales team. This includes inflammation, cardiovascular and migraine business units. This team will directly support the Integrated Specialty Sales Team.

This role will have a dotted line to the National Sales Director to ensure that a proactive, strategic approach is in place for all brands so that the Business Unit will meet its strategic objectives. The position will also consistently align with Regional Sales Directors to ensure training business objectives are being achieved for all brands and support the Field Regional Trainers to deliver on expectations.

This position is a US-based field leadership position, reporting directly to the Director of Learning and Performance.

  • Responsible for managing five regional Field Training Managers while adapting and managing the New Hire / Onboarding and Advanced Training curriculum, as well as consulting with Marketing on their launches, semester meeting strategies, regional initiatives.
  • Provide support and deliver Leadership Curriculum as well as deliver specific customized learning for our internal team.
  • Additional responsibilities include leading and coordinating District Sales Trainers Onboarding and training, collaborating with other National Field Training Managers, leading sales capability initiatives, portfolio pull through initiatives, and phase 3 training in the field for New Hires to enhance our field force capabilities.

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 2 years of training experience, or training and sales and/or marketing experience

Or

Master’s degree and 6 years of training experience, or training and sales and/or marketing experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of training experience, or training and sales and/or marketing experience

OR

Associate’s degree and 10 years of training experience, or training and sales and/or marketing experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of training experience, or training and sales and/or marketing experience

AND

2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of training, sales and/or marketing experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industries
  • Product sales experience (inflammation, cardiovascular, migraine)
  • Manage, Coach and Develop staff in L&P roles to deliver on the curriculum and develop future talent for the organization
  • Experience defining training goals and objectives with key internal clients, and establishing, communicating and managing teams to timelines and financial targets
  • Experience in engaging with multiple internal partners to deliver results for multiple priorities
  • Experience working with sales team, regulatory, legal, compliance, vendor management as client or functional unit lead
  • Strong clinical acumen to model and shape curriculum and staff
  • Demonstrated self-starter, ability to work under limited supervision and coordinate multiple projects and teams in a detailed environment
  • Strong eye for business using Veeva data systems
  • Strong Communication skills (Coaching and selling skills)
  • Understanding of Access & Reimbursement environment
