The Incubation and Acceleration Programmes (“Programmes”) of Hong Kong Science & Technologies Parks Corporation (“HKSTP”), are initiatives to further support the development of selected tenant companies through a combination of business and corporate development, offered by HKSTP and industry experts in various fields. Our Programmes give these exceptional individuals and businesses a chance to truly shine.

Incubation programmes help technology startups turn their innovative ideas into marketable products and solutions while our Acceleration programme, also known as Leading Enterprises Acceleration Programme (“LEAP”), is an ultra-tailored programme to turn elite startups into regional or global tech giants and prepares them for eventual IPO or M&A. 

We are now looking for a talented Business Development professional to be part of our dynamic team. 

Responsibilities:- 

• Work independently as a go-to-person to drive startups in LEAP on business success and company growth
• Formulate strategies and execution plans for startups to expand the business in APAC region 

• Collaborate with overseas corporations, channels, system integrators and solution providers to build effective products and service on-boarding framework
• Conduct periodic review on the performance of startups and provide appropriate support
• Enrich services, supports, resources and networks in the Programme to best serve HKSTP startups community 

• Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager as appropriate

Requirements:- 

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business, from a top-tier university. Higher Degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in strategic planning, business development and channel development in APAC region, preferably from the industry with focus in enterprise solutions or IoT products
• Strong business acumen with solid experience in B2B and B2C sales cycle
• Experience in startups or tech ecosystem or equivalent, preferably familiar with doing product development and management in the context
• Self-motivated, organized, a good team player and manager able to multi-task and work under pressure and tight schedule
• Logical thinking, attention to details, great interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) required.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered lower position
