As a Senior Learning and Development Manager, you will,

Serve as an interface point for team member development and change needs. In partnership with HR and senior leaders, identify the most critical talent gaps and key moments or transitions that require talent development and/or change interventions. Lead the learning environment for multiple client groups and develop and implement learning solutions. As an expert in learning and development, you will advocate best training practices to maximize the organization’s effectiveness. Execute on our service model by:

? Creating learning experiences to invest and build new capabilities prioritized with the HR and the Leadership Team

? Based on China (Shanghai or Shenzhen) and reporting to HR Director based in Headquarters, create training plan and calendar for supported regions and functional areas.

? Assess, design, develop and implement focused training (leadership, role based, etc.); measure the training effectiveness and evolve approach.

? Execute, deliver and curate high-quality, effective training, including in-person, remote delivery, train-the-trainer, curation of external content, etc.

? Marketing a common portfolio of development tools available to everyone when they need them in service of building a learning culture

? Identify and amplify stories of impact to showcase proof points of what's working well

About you:

  • University graduate with minimum 8 – 10 years of relevant working experience in retail, buying office or other HQ HR or L&D function
  • Background in training development and facilitation
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • Broad talent development experience
  • Expert consulting skills (includes ability to lead, communicate, influence and demonstrate strong executive presence, business acumen and strategic mindset)
  • Effectively lead large complex cross-functional efforts and programs (includes handling project intake, root cause analysis, scope and maintain service level agreements, develop resource recommendations, and consulting)
  • Proven ability to build broad and deep business acumen quickly
  • Excellent problem solving, negotiation, planning, influencing and organizational skills
  • Willing to travel on a regular basis (25 – 50% of the time)
