Our client is a newly funded Shanghai startup specialized in Cyber Threat Intelligence and Innovation Risk Assessment. With the development of today’s digital world, new threats and risks emerge every day. Their team of specialists operates in every field from legal consulting to data recovery and investigation.

The position is open in Shanghai office.

Responsibility

The Senior IT auditor reports to the Managing Partner and Head of Compliance.

• Main goals are to identify and address key risks;
• Improve operational efficiencies;
• Enhance the controls environment;
• Provide value added services to our business partners to achieve their objectives;
• Responsible for developing and executing project level IT audit plans for China region;

Requirement

• Three+ years of professional experience as an IT auditor or other relevant controls experience
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in computer science, software engineering, management information system, information security or a related field
• At least one professional certification (CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, Ethical Hacking or other)
• In-depth understanding of IT security, processes and technologies, such as SDLC, OS, DB, network devices
• Understanding of at least one of the internationally recognized information security and IT service management standards, such as ITIL, ISO27001, COBIT
• Ability to assess information security management framework, policies, standards, procedures and solutions
• Chinese Native and English fluent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Quick study of new and complex processes and effective assessment of risks and deficiencies
• Agrees to pursue professional development opportunities and to obtain professional certification if not already certified
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes and to think outside of the box
• Knowledge of emerging IT issues, internal audit trends and best practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)

Preferred

• Big 4 Advisory Firm audit experience
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, vehicle cybersecurity
• Familiar with mainstream tools (SAP, Salesforces, …)
• Relevant IT operational experience
