As a Senior IP Counsel, you will be responsible and accountable for CN IP strategy, policy and process optimization and implementation.

Reporting to the Head of IP Asia, you will be working closely with business to explore and create wealthy IP assets for delegated global and local divisions.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible and accountable for CN IP strategy, policy and process optimization and implementation
• Working closely with business to explore and create wealthy IP assets for delegated global and local divisions
• Managing IP License and contract review, providing focused legal advice and guidance on software, IOT and innovation matters involving contracts, JDA, NDA, strategic alliances, new product development, R&D, etc.
• Taking lead cross region and functional tasks from IP perspective, including IP DD for M&A projects, IP assessment and transaction, IP disputes

Your background

• 8 to 10+ years of experience as IP attorney and preferably extensive experience working in MNCs
• Must be flexible, self-driven and possess a positive outlook with an innovative and creative spirit.
• Customer oriented and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluency in English & Mandarin
• A Bachelor of Science degree in (Engineering, Math, Science, or equivalent) or A Master's degree in (Business or equivalent)
• Member of China Patent Bar or member of China Legal Bar
