Job Description

The primary responsibilities of this role are:
Works directly with employees and managers in researching and responding to employee inquiries, questions and complaints; 
Provides information, guidance and direction on HR programs, processes, and procedures to employees and managers.  
Lead new hire training and support onboarding activities.  
Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues and HR system issues.  Drives resolution with other HR organizations to resolve issues.
Partner with business to identify business priorities and design and deliver people related initiatives & programs to support in meeting those business priorities.
Coach business managers on people related issues - including but not limited to performance, discipline, employee relations, offers / hiring, promotions, career, compensation, reward & recognition etc.
Drive Talent Management practices with employees and managers enabling them to leverage the Oracle HCM modules (i.e Goals, Career, Talent Reviews & Succession Management).
Diagnose People related development areas for the business and fulfill those with the available Organization Talent Development (OTD) tools and resources including facilitating any design and delivery of such programs in collaboration with OTD partners.
Collaborate and network with key stakeholders (Total Rewards, HR Ops, HR shared services, Recruiting, D&I, Global Mobility & others) and interface with managers and employees for delivering HR solutions to address employee / business requirements.
Manage matters concerning employee relations including any investigations, disciplinary processes as well as corrective actions.
Understand, interpret and advise business managers and team members on HR Policies, practices and implementation.
Managing complexities and resolving issues through effective HR partnering.
Harmonization of internal procedures with local laws and regulations. Monitoring and applying changes in that area.


Skills:
Excellent command of Business English and is an excellent communicator, both written and verbally, with strong listening skill.
Confidence and strong ability to interact with business leaders, supervisors and/or functional peer group.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and exerting influence without direct authority.
Ability for continuous Self learning, personal drive and results-orientation.
Demonstrates ethical, balanced judgment and decisiveness when consequences of the decision involve potential risk to business results, team, or self.
Assess various situations and provide reliable solutions within company’s framework in addressing issues.       
Ability to hold self and others accountable to meet commitments, consistently delivering results within required SLAs and expectations.
Ability to work independently and function well in a team.
Work collaboratively with others, creating partnerships with management, colleagues, and the rest of the other HR functions.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
Treat highly confidential data with utmost integrity.

Extremely detail-oriented, organized, analytical, pro-active and resourceful.

Requirements:
University Degree, preferably Psychology, Social Studies.
Minimum 8 years of related experience

Partners with business units/divisions in delivering Corporate and Divisional HR policies and programs.

Join a leading HR group consulting with management and employees on HR practices and procedures. Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values. Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., manpower planning, salary/bonus/stock review, organizational change, performance management, and training assessment).

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Ability to travel. 8 years generalist experience and BA/BS degree. Experience in an HR specialty a plus.
