This position is an opportunity for a team member who has previous food & beverage supervisory experience and is willing to branch out and assist the Restaurant & Bar Manager to manage the team.

This is a very hands on role. Your week may include a variety of shifts in Food & Beverage in a variety of shifts (Breakfast, Bar or A la Carte Dinner). Occasionally you may be required to assist on the Heart of House area supporting kitchen operations.

Work Experience
  • Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in Supervisory position is preferred.
  • Excellent English Communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven record of meeting sales targets
  • A proven high standard in cleaning that is required to work in a A grade kitchen
  • Ability to coordinate various tasks/sections simultaneously
  • Team Player and able to work effectively with colleagues from different cultures
  • Ability to work any shift/day
  • Hold Work rights to live and work in work in NZ
  • Understanding of Accor Hotels and Heartist guest service principles will be beneficial. 
  • Skilled in F&B service and supervision with the ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment
  • Penchant for customer service and effectively manage guest complaints
  • Ability to train and manage a dynamic team
  • Minimum 2 year supervisory or team leader experience in a hotel environment is essential
  • Knowledge of Micros or similar POS systems, Opera or similar PMS systems and Microsoft Software
  • Holds a GM certificate or has the ability to hold one
  • LCQ and First Aid training is advantageous
