Our location in Lake Forest, IL currently has an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Responsible for all back office functions in the BU related to Tax, Treasury, Accounting as well as distributor inventory and working capital
• Lead activities related to ensuring timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
• Direct oversight at BU level for maintaining, reporting and supporting affiliates financial accounting systems, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control and related working capital activity.
• Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts. Manage monthly Cash flow analytics (DSO, DPO, DOH) for BU
• Should have sound knowledge on budgets and budgetary controls, managing forecasts/reforecasts for One Time costs and integration as per corporate timelines
• Able to work with management on strategy, strategic plans and Projects.
• Liason between IDEM BU Finance teams, Business unit senior leadership, and Division Finance teams.
• Manage initiatives related to finance transformation
• Assist in integrating into existing Abbott systems, identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Lead and ensure Balance sheet analytics and reviews and support accounting policies 
• Manage DSO and credit analytics, review credit risk and provide recommendations for approval to ARDx DVP Finance
• Recommend and ensure alignment to Revenue Recognition policy
• Perform ad-hoc analyses based on needs of Finance leadership and RDx management, evaluate overall Division performance and items such as new initiatives and cost savings opportunities. Assist with preparation of management financial presentations 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

Required

• Accounting, Finance or similar degree
• 5-10   years’ experience
• Solid Analytical skills, able to model complex financial sensitivity analysis.
• FP&A experience.

Preferred

• Fast learner
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
