NetEase Games Montreal is the brand new division of NetEase Games; a leading game developer and publisher focusing on delivering top quality mobile and online gaming experiences. We’re currently seeking FX Artist for our next AAA project to be responsible for producing high quality FX contents.

Job Responsibilities:

• Creating, and implementing real-time particle effects and animated shaders;
• Modeling, texturing, animating, lighting and optimizing FX assets under art direction;
• Willing to learn (and teach) new tools and techniques;
• Collaborating with designers, programmers and other members of the art team;
• Being meticulous and organized in approaching tasks, adhering to pipeline workflow;

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience as FX Artist;
• Experience on at least one AAA production as a FX Artist;
• Knowledge of special-effect creation in a game engine;
• Excellent in creating Motion Graphics & Animation.
• Experienced in working with game engines;
• Experience creating menus in UMG of UE4 is a plus.
