Minimum 6-8 years ( Diploma engineer – 6-8 years & Engineering Graduate – 4-6 years ) of experience in procurement function in an electronic manufacturing unit . Qualification : B.E/ B.TECH or Diploma in electronics and communication / Electrical Engineering Experience – 6-8 years in procurement of electronic and electro mechanical parts in any electronic manufacturing unit System, tools Knowledge and hands on experience - SAP, MRP, excel and inventory management tools etc. Managing factory operational procurement. Preparation of ordering list for component Unit 1 and getting factory management approval. Import material follow up with vendors for Unit1 & Unit2. Interface with Forwarders, C&F and Exim for import material movement and clearance. Preparing PDCA for delivery failures. Clearing web cycles, providing data for MTO. Attending vendor queries like MOQ, MPN etc. Co-ordinate with production planner and provide delivery dates for materials. Co-ordinate with Materials follow up person and PO creator and ensure that materials available on time for production. Providing RFQ details well in advance for SPOT buy to SPR. Providing inventory details every month (Expected receipt, consumption and closing stock) and monitoring raw material inventory at optimum level.
