Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• With supervision, perform engineering assignments which are a scoped portion of a larger project.
• Lead small project teams through the planning, execution, and completion of smaller projects or defined pieces of larger projects.
• Support projects within Baxter’s change control management process, from initiation through closure. Assess change plans and write and execute engineering studies, while working closely with manufacturing plants, design owning organizations, sterility assurance and quality.
• Work with manufacturing plants to understand technical hurdles, determine options for path forward, and support/lead technical work required.
• Communicate project status to team members and management on a regular basis.
• Provide engineering support across global manufacturing network for container/disposable products with some supervision.

• Development and management of technical project schedules based on interface with technical support groups, to meet deliverables and commitments.

• Generation of technical documentation in support of project deliverables and requirements, such as protocols, reports, specifications, SOPs, and other supporting documents.
• Solve technical problems utilizing engineering tools (e.g. DMAIC, Statistical Analysis, etc.).

  Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, 3-5 years experience.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present results and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders.
• Operate effectively within and support cross-functional teams globally.

• Ability to apply statistical and engineering techniques to solve problems.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to present and communication results and recommendations to project teams with supervision.
• Ability to effectively operate within and lead small cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of and/or experience in a regulated industry.
