Senior Electrical Engineer

Position Summary:

Working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative and systems-oriented environment, the Senior Electrical Engineer will be involved in all phases of Keurig product development – system architecture, component selection, schematic design, PCB Layout, design verification and ongoing support of production. Our electronics systems integrate AC power circuits, electro-mechanical control systems, sensors, microcontrollers, microprocessors, wired and wireless communication interfaces, displays and touchscreens in an elegant, easy-to-use product.

Job Duties:

• Develop electronics for interactive product functionality, including user interface and wireless communication capabilities
• Establish a platform approach to electronics that meets cost and feature requirements for products at multiple price points and feature sets
• Collaborate with software, mechanical and quality engineers to deliver product functionality
• Continuously improve tools and best practices for high-speed digital and wireless / RF design
• Partner with Asia-based manufacturing partners to transition designs to volume production
• Continuously improve tools and best practices for electronics development
• Support ongoing production as needed
• Occasional domestic and international travel required

Qualifications:

• B.S. Electrical Engineering, MS preferred
• 10+ years embedded microprocessor hardware design experience
• Design of products using WiFi and/or Cellular
• Experience with a variety of display and touchscreen technologies
• Proficiency with electronics simulation and modeling tools
• Proven ability to lead a team of technical staff members to the successful delivery of complex electronics systems
• Strong communication skills
• High volume consumer electronics / appliances experience preferred
• Experience working with overseas contract manufacturers
• Design for international markets, including power, safety and EMC/EMI compliance standards
• Strong lab skills for design debug and verification required
• Exposure to agile development methodologies desired
• Familiarity with embedded firmware development desired，rich experience of C and C++ development is a plus
