Job Description

Job Summary

As part of the Global eCommerce team, the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for:

  • Presenting the proposal/ media plan to senior management;
  • Driving targeted audiences to the organisation’s e-channels to increase acquisition and retention in a cost-efficient way;
  • Managing digital performance marketing channels including Google Ads, Affiliates, Retargeting, Social Ads and 3rd party ecommerce platform advertising;
  • Gathering insights continuously and build reports to give stakeholders a clear view on the media channel performance and ROI's.

As a member of the global team, the performance marketing specialist should seek to drive a cultural change within the organisation globally to be more digitally agile.

In this role, you will:

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, social media and display advertising campaigns;
  •  Turn campaign planning, channel initiatives and business objectives into clear online acquisition strategy;
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs);
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights;
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies;
  • Identify the user flow and optimize the conversion funnels
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points;
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners when required;
  • Evaluate emerging marketing and eCommerce technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate;
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence;
  • Ad-hoc duties related to digital marketing and e-commerce.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Professional experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital acquisition activities driving audience within an e-commerce/online environment.
  • Skilled in SEM (Google Certification a plus), SEO experience highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., GDN)
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, or similar reporting
  • Experience in product marketing would be seen favourably
  • Degree in digital marketing/marketing/eCommerce or a related field.
