Senior Deposit Portfolio Manager (Job ID: 2627)

Responsibilities

• To formula the strategy on deposit products and services to grow the deposit portfolio and enhance profitability
• To manage the balance and Net Interest Income growth strategy to align with the goals of Personal Banking Division
• To liaise with relevant departments for the launch of the new products and services and work with relevant departments for product enhancement and modification
• To explore new pricing and charging opportunities for deposit products and services
• To work on the Deposit Protect Scheme related report and process
• To keep abreast of market developments and provide regular updates on deposit products and competitor offers
• To prepare tracking reports on deposit performance against target on a periodic basis and an ad-hoc basis (regarding market share, CASA tracking, significant inflow / outflow monitoring, etc) in an accurate and timely manner for management review
• To conduct business trends on deposit related analyses

Requirements

• University Graduate in Accounting, Finance, Marketing or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ solid experience in banking sector ideally in retail banking products
• At least 1 year of managerial position, with track record in Deposits Portfolio Management
• Organized, independent and effective team player with good working attitude
• Familiar with retail banking products
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Good presentation skills and able to present complex idea in simple language
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, knowledge of SQL and Visual Basic Application would be a plus
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua
