Senior Credit Manager / Credit Manager (Job ID: 2520)

Responsibilities

• To assess, review and recommend credit proposals, loan reviews and status reports submitted by overseas branches and arrange approval based on the respective lending authorities
• To review the credit policies of overseas branches periodically and suggest appropriate amendments when necessary
• To assist Division and Department Heads to monitor the quality of loan portfolio of overseas branches and suggest account strategies
• To review the credit risk related management reports of overseas branches and propose appropriate actions / measures whenever necessary
• To co-ordinate between overseas branches and Risk Management Division of Head Office on credit risk related issues
• To take up ad hoc assignments when required

Requirements

• University graduate in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline
• “Certified Banker” or equivalent professional qualifications is an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years’ banking experience
• Sound knowledge of banking operations, particularly in credit risk management and control
• Strong leadership, analytical and decision-making skills
• A team player with good communication and management skills with positive working attitude
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
