Job Description

The Role

The Senior Consulting Sales Representative reports to the Stores Consulting leader and is responsible for selling consulting services solutions to customers so as to facilitate their successful implementation/operation of Oracle Stores products.

The Senior Consulting Sales Representative manages the sales process; from account planning, opportunity development, service solution development, internal approvals, negotiating through to signature and booking of a consulting engagement.

The Senior Consulting Sales Representative works in close collaboration with the EMEA consulting team on the development of work effort, scope, timeline, price estimates, and delivery method to promote agreement and a smooth transition from sales to delivery.

The EMEA Senior Consulting Sales Representative is accountable for an EMEA annual quota and quarterly sales booking target.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • You will work with Oracle license sales teams, Oracle partners, and other Oracle internal organizations to develop and close Stores consulting engagements.
  • You will carry a quota for consulting sales for your territory and you will be required to work to the quarterly regional goals, and within defined deal margins.
  • You will serve as the consulting main point of contact for customers in the licence sales cycle.
  • You will be responsible for generating leads, developing opportunities, and closing consulting engagements.
  • You will be responsible for identifying and developing professional relationships with opportunity key decision makers.
  • You will be responsible for managing deals through the full sales lifecycle from opportunity to booking and comply with the internal reporting, deal approval, and contracting process requirements at each stage.
  • Develop strong business relationships with client contacts and across the whole Oracle organisation.

Skills and Experience

  • Experienced selling solutions for an Enterprise Software company or Systems Integrator.
  • Experience in the Retail industry a strong plus.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the consulting delivery process.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sale, customer relationship management and loss prevention systems a plus
  • Experience working with third-party providers and systems integrators
  • Multi-lingual, with the ability to speak English and either Italian or French

Responsible for sales of Oracle consulting services.

Responsible for selling the Oracle consulting services. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel.

8-12 years of relevant field sales experience. Able to develop strong internal relationships. Able to network and develop strong business relationships with customers such that they turn to Oracle for their resource needs. Able to generate leads and submit proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of Oracle service offerings. Able to generate consulting services and nurture and close the transaction. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
