The Data and Digital Practice which sits within Oracle UK’s Technology Consulting group specializes in providing digital innovation and digital delivery services in the UK and Ireland, working closely with the EMEA region. Focused on achieving business outcomes, the organisation collaborates with customers to achieve success through digital innovation as either stand-alone Tech projects or in supporting SaaS and other Oracle Cloud projects.

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative & passionate Full Stack consultant, who is pursuing to build user-centric Digital Solutions based on modern technology frameworks and Oracle cloud platform. Someone who can work autonomously, but contributes & communicates well within a dynamic social Digital team.

As a Senior Consultant, you will:

•  Lead end-users and project stakeholder interviews, focus groups, workshops and testing sessions
• Apply innovative and conceptual thinking to create appropriate digital solutions across multiple platforms, whilst skilfully blending user needs, business goals and technical constraints.
• Constantly apply user-centered design methodologies, thus ensuring the solutions are based on real customer needs.
• Map that the proposed User Requirements to technical components, ensuring its feasibility
• Understand digital solution architecture and the guidelines for ensuring stability, extendibility and scalability during the development phase
• Effectively present ideas and concepts in tangible forms such as storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, etc to a wide audience such as business stakeholders, developers, architects, product owners, etc.
• Support estimation of work for the implementation phase
• Work as product specialist during the delivery phase for low-level design, build, deploy, test and roll-out of the solutions in this area
• Provide functional and technical advice both to the customer and project team.
• Communicate regularly with project team and the customer at both a functional and technical level.
• Adhere to project approach and governance for the specific project(s) you are working with
• Be a technical advisor for customers as required, being able to hold and maintain a trusted relationship
• Collaborate, as required, with both consulting and licensing / cloud Oracle sales areas by proposing and building value propositions and supporting the bidding phase.

Required Skills/Experience

Your enthusiasm, knowledge, and customer-centricity will help us become the number one cloud company in the world. We also look for:

•  At least 3+ years of industry experience (agency and/or client-side) in User Experience Design/Interaction Design with a consistent record of success.
• Familiarity with the most up to date cloud technologies. You understand the capabilities and limits of technology solutions to deliver the most appropriate user experience and can manage customer expectations, keeping them focused on effective, yet feasible and viable solutions.
• You have extensive experience and a proven track record of delivering end-to-end experience/interactive design, ideally in Oracle cloud technology stacks
• You have extensive knowledge in implementing innovative web & mobile solutions using cloud technology platforms such as Oracle, AWS, MSFT Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
• You are familiar with Cloud Infrastructure and architectures
• You are experienced with Agile approaches as well as direct communication with a client (sprint reviews, joint sprint planning, etc)
• You are experienced in interacting with RESTful services
• You have good verbal and written communications skills
• Proven ability to effectively communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale, all within a user-centric design process.
• You feel at home working in multidisciplinary and are comfortable engaging with and guiding stakeholders across multiple business domains. You have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationships with both internal team members and customers.
• You evangelize human-centric design principals and are able to articulate fundamental concepts and value of design to uninitiated audiences.
• Knowledge or understanding of HTML/CSS, JavaScript etc is an advantage.
• Must be self-motivated to prioritise and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines.

• You are educated to an undergraduate degree or greater level. Equivalent work experience will be considered.

Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
