Senior Consultant

Job Description
iSoftStone (iSS) is looking for a Senior Consultant to join the Worldwide Services department in our Beijing Headquarters. In the Worldwide Services (henceforth “WWS”) department of iSoftStone, we utilize crowdsourcing to deliver on-time, high quality services and solutions to clients in the industries of Search, Speech Recognition, Language Services, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet Services, and more.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate all aspects of process improvement initiatives/projects, including defining and measuring the problem, conducting detailed work analysis and developing and controlling outcomes-based process improvement and implementation work plans.
• Co-ordinates with team to provide the right inputs for process definitions.
• Assess, recommend and promote approaches for applying process methodologies and techniques to large scale and multiple projects. Monitors and facilitates regular meetings and communications between all parties.
• Serve as process improvement advocate, with respect to the application of continuous quality improvement principles and practices. This includes application of continuous process improvement skills and methodologies to articulate the problem, baseline current state, analyze root cause, recommend improvements, and monitor results. Achieve an outcome that provides sustainable solutions to the internal/eternal clients.
• Provides process methodology training by developing and/or preparing instructional materials and visual aids, and delivering training on-the-job to the team. Conduct quality reviews of and provide feedback on the technical work products of junior consultants.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business Management or related field.
• Years of quality/process improvement work experience utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on effectively delivering data-driven insights.
• Basic knowledge of SQL programming for DB analysis and advanced MS Excel knowledge preferred.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools, Tableau is preferred.

Desired Skills and Experience
• In-depth knowledge of process improvement, re-engineering, estimating and measurement concepts, of change control development process, quality assurance principles and concepts relative to standards and procedures, review process, reporting, escalation and continuous improvement.
• Should possess strong analytical, problem solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience supervising and/or managing team.
