Job Description
Assist in new supplier COC management system development and qualification including supplier training, policies & procedures review and new supplier evaluation audit, etc.
Supervise the COC programs/activities in order to enhance COC awareness of all levels within the factories.
Lead on-site inspection and provide technical advice on improving factory’s facilities, processes and working environment to demonstrate compliance in social responsbility.
Conduct periodic COC audits at factories through worker interview, document review and on-site inspection to monitor their compliance performance.
Issue audit reports & Corrective Action Plans, facilitate suppliers to formulate the effective corrective and preventive action plans.
Follow up the implementation of the suppliers’ improvement plans and verify the effectiveness of the improvement actions.
Reach out to NGOs/other associations for collaborative ideas, best practice sharing and bench marking.
Support the Assistant Manager to evaluate the performance of suppliers, including monitoring country risks and identifying trends.
Take up ad hoc projects assigned by Assistant Manager.
Frequent travel to China and occasional travel to overseas countries.
University graduate with minimum 3 years work experience running social responsibility improvement projects.
Knowledge of social responsibility, international labor standards and environmental protection.
Qualified Lead Auditor in management system, i.e. ISO 14001, SA8000.
Strong business ethics and high level of integrity.
