Business Development Executive (Corporate Sales for Education)
 
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Support the company in formulating a long/short term Regional Business Development Strategy.
  • Establish the Regional Business Development function working closely with the company’s CEO and Solution Architecture by setting the company’s regional business development mission, goals, strategies and deliverables based on the company’s objectives and budget.
  • Participate in the development of the organisation’s periodic strategic key accounts review and operational work plans.
  • Champion the company’s growth initiatives within the Asia Pacific region by leading the company’s initiatives to expand its footprint within the region.
  • Learn about the client's business challenges and technologies to understand their business needs.
  • Identify and conduct complex analysis in order to find new market opportunities and potential, provide competitive market insights and develop strategic business development plans with the assigned accounts.
  • Build healthy sales and executable sales pipelines using lead generation tools and acquire new active clients successfully.
  • Carry out research and perform data analytics to understand, diagnose, and design business proposals and solutions for clients.
  • Present business proposals and solution, secure sales with effective business proposals and solutions.
  • Provide trustworthy follow-up and after-sales support for clients, and develop excellent client relationships and retention strategies for assigned accounts.
  • Organise and attend relevant networking events.
  • Develop partnerships to co-create value-adding channels and business platforms.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal resources/assets to ensure the smooth running of projects/programs.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in the industry and competitive strategies and developments at a regional level.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource, Marketing or related field.
  • Diploma holders need to have at least 5 years of direct experience in corporate client servicing or key account management.
  • Degree holders need to have at least 3 years of direct experience in corporate client servicing or key account management.
  • Experience in the corporate training industry, good knowledge of SSG programs and EduTrust framework will be an advantage.
  • Results-orientated and driven to excel.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Resourceful and resilient.
