Senior Bid/Sales Manager (English Native)

Job Description
Main+Tasks:
• Reporting to the VP Sales, the Bid Manager is responsible for leading and managing the preparation of and commercial response to bids and proposals. The Proposals / Bid+Manager will lead and continuously improve the company's bid process, responding quickly and accurately to complex PQQ, ITT, RFI, RFP requests from customers. The Proposals / Bid Manager will work closely with the sales teams and executive management, leading the internal bid review process to ensure proposals are submitted on time, accurately and meet key pricing, revenue and profit margin metrics and goals.
• The Bid Manager will manage a team of Bid Writers, Coordinators and Cost Estimators responsible for preparing proposals covering activities in the face-to-face customer relationship management industry globally. Proposals will range in complexity from single site projects to global opportunities covering multiple sites in multiple countries.
• The Bid Manager role is a collaborative one and the individual will coach and support all individuals involved in bid submissions, working closely with the solutions, technical, creative, operational, legal, financial, sales, marketing and commercial delivery teams.
Skills and responsibilities:
• Candidates are required to possess a University Degree in business administration, marketing, finance, economics or related+area.
• Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience writing proposals, and ideally a minimum of 2 years experience leading the proposal production process.
• Must possess a minimum of 2 years experience in team management.
• The ideal candidate will have significant experience in leading complex large-scale bid submissions and tenders, with experience of managing the full bid life cycle on a range of solutions oriented opportunities.
• Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project and preferably experience of the sales cycles within the public sector.
• English native speaker, fluent in any other language is a distinct advantage.
