Key Responsibilities

1. Join BU’s top priority innovation & new product development projects, drive projects to meet key milestones and deliverables via cross functional collaboration.

2.Independently plan, carry out and report laboratory studies as part of project plans and in agreement with the manager.

3.Develop and implement new methods, equipment and competencies to solve technical problems. Provide new ideas for technical difficulties solving, patent and paper writing.

4.Take on project leader responsibilities for projects in complex nature when appointed.

5.Provide guidance and information to Research Associates and Assistants to secure fast, efficient and prioritized solving of tasks.

6.Ensure good and close co-operation within the department, and with other departments in R&D and business functions.

7.Strive towards excellence in personal specialty fields.

8.Establish and maintain a network with selected universities and customer.

Qualifications

1. PhD in biotechnology, colloidal chemistry, material science/engineering etc, or MS with 3-5 years of proven record in Bestzymes relevant industry area.

2.Work experience in enzyme industry is preferred.

3.Agile, self-motivated and willing to work in a dynamic working culture.

4.Strong in communication and team-work.

5.Excellent in written and oral English.
