Job Description:

• Support the preparation of local solvency reports and forecasts for assessing solvency positions and free surplus generation of the business
• Prepare detailed analyses for accurate results, such as analysis of profits, reserve and solvency movement
• Investigate and explain trends, errors or inconsistencies that have been spotted
• Support the team in managing non-guaranteed benefits of participating products
• Perform detailed analyses and prepare reports for dividend recommendation
• Support strategic asset allocation review of participating business by performing detailed analysis
• Support Prophet operations and check results from Prophet modelling/tables to ensure that they are in line with specified methodology and assumptions and meet the required standard/guideline
• Implement the Prophet model development/ enhancement when required for reporting and analysis
• Enhance the valuation control, governance and documentation for local statutory reporting
• Maintain a clearly documented audit trail of data, assumptions, methods, modelling, process and financial results

Job Requirements:

• University graduate in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics and preferably qualified actuary
• In pursuit of actuarial qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in related field, preferably in financial reporting area. Candidate with less experience will be considered for the post of Actuarial Analyst
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail minded, self-motivated, able to work under pressure
• Good verbal and written English
• Competent user of Prophet software and Microsoft Excel as a strong advantag
