Job Description

JobDescription:

  • General ledger accounting for China entities
  • Manage petty cash, monitor cash and bank balances andcomplete bank reconciliations
  • Assist in identifying unreconciled items, APreconciliation, AR reconciliation etc. carry out analytical activities andprovide support in resolving the issues/problems
  • To prepare accounting journals/entries
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly, half-year and year-endfinancial close activities are prepared in an accurate manner and inaccordance to China and International GAAP,
  • Assist in periodic rolling forecast, annual forecast/budgeting process
  • Manage cross-border intercompany settlement
  • Accounts receivable (AR) management. Follow up on theAR collection and implementation of the AR management rules, review themonthly aging report, evaluate the credit condition of the customer onregular basis/monthly.
  • Ensure compliance with Company’s internal controls andprocedures
  • Actively participate in systems implementations – ERP,SAP etc.
  • Assist Department Head in the internal and externalauditing process
  • Support Company tax related matters, tax fillings
  • Coach staff and knowledge share
  • Other tasks as required by Department Head
  • Support Department Head on ad hoc basis/ projects

Theresponsibilities are not limited to the above; the job holder will also followother work assigned by his/her immediate supervisor/ Department Head


Proficiencies& Qualifications

  • Academic qualification/education background – bachelordegree holder/ university graduate (preferably in accounting or financerelated major)
  • Experience in food distribution, FMCGindustry (e. g. food and beverage) with about 3 years workingexperience
  • Familiar with import business (food distribution, beeretc.)
  • Able to perform work independently, proactive
  • Good communication skills and willing to learn
  • Strong commitment to meet deadlines
  • Must be a team player, able to execute/implement theplan set by Department Head
  • Must be highly organized, enthusiastic, self-motivated,detail-oriented, people manager experience is an advantage
  • Must possess customer service awareness, able tocontrol and work with relevant service providers

  • Familiar with MS Office
  • SAP experience (will be a PLUS)
  • Language – good command of Chinese and English bothwritten and spoken
