Job Description

Formal Training - Certifications

  • Bachelor or Masters degree, preferably in IT or any related field of expertise.
  • Possession of one security certification, or working towards obtaining when acquiring the required professional experience:
    • ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/ Internal Auditor 
    • CISA, CISSP, CCSP, CEH

Information Security Management

  • Good knowledge of security architectures, the definition of security requirements and security design activities
  • Good communication skills, including comprehensive report writing and specific experience communicating security content
  • Presentation skills, able to articulate and present to a wide audience from technical to the board room

The following will be considered a plus:

  • Knowledge of ISO 27000 Standards 
  • Ability to participate in Risk Assessments 
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR,  CSA CCM, AICPA /SSAE16, SANS Top 20
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance

Technical Competencies

  • Strong programming skills in Java
  • Knowledge of security technologies such as SSO/PKI, authentication, encryption, entitlements, audit, authorization policies and standards like OAUTH 2.0, and SAML 2.0
  • Knowledge of the Oracle Middleware product stack.
  • Working knowledge of database technologies like SQL or MongoDB 
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix based servers
  • Experience with shell scripting
  • Experience with source control using Git.
  • Affinity with technical concepts, such as Web Services (SOAP and REST), XML, JSON, Swagger, OpenAPI, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, Nginx, Cassandra, etc.
  • Affinity with virtualization including security for one or more of the following: Compute, Network, Storage, End-point, Application
An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
