About Animal Health Business

Job Responsibilities

• Building, leading and managing a group of scientists in the area of vaccine research and developmentDevelopment of robust and precise processes and SOPs for planning and execution of research studies according to all relevant guidelines to ensure acceptance of studies by Chinese authorities and EMA
• Work closely together with the global R&D team to guarantee alignment and best practice
• Design and timely execution of research studies according to state of the art
• Ensure preparation of appropriate documentation for regulatory purposes
• Representation of the R&D group in project teams
• Support Regulatory Affairs for dossier compilations, submissions, answering regulatory questions and oral hearings
• Contribute to the intellectual property estate of BI by initiating of and contributing to patent filings
• Contribute to the R&D strategy for China and SE Asia

• Education/Degree Requirements: PhD
• Major: veterinary sciences, agricultural sciences, microbiology, biochemistry or comparable
• Language skills & proficiency: Fluent in English and Chinese both in verbal and written communication
• Required capabilities (skills, experience, competencies):
• Experience within a multinational company is a plus
• Practical experience in leading people is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Good team worker; proven ability for working in interdisciplinary teams is a plus
