The appointee(s) will (a) co-ordinate the provision of major services of research groups; (b) supervise and provide training to research staff or students; (c) manage the daily operations of a research laboratory; and (d) undertake other tasks as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a PhD degree in related disciplines; (ii) at least 5 years’ post-doctoral work experience, including at least 1 year’s experience in clinical or scientific research and/or laboratory management; (iii) a solid background in molecular genetics technologies, preferably with a track record of molecular diagnostic research and next-generation sequencing; (iv) a good publication record; and (v) experience in laboratory management.

Appointments will initially be made on a contract basis for up to 2 years commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
