This position can be based at our Canton, MI Sales & Design Center or our Southfield, MI office. A hybrid working schedule is availble for this role. We make the electric revolution work. Position Overview: This Synergy Lead is responsible for supporting the management of Eaton RPS (Royal Power Solutions) Synergy Programs and the optimizing the relationship between RPS and Eaton. The Synergies Lead will report to the Sales Director and will be responsible for the coordination of all actions for Synergy Developments. The Synergies Lead will work cross-functionally with multiple roles across Eaton including Sales, Engineering, Program Managers, Manufacturing and Testing Teams to drive completion of Synergy developments. In this function you will: Coordinate actions between RPS and Eaton extended business units; eMobility, VG, Electrical, Aerospace Manage weekly Open Issues Meetings with Internal Eaton enterprise & RPS divisional team members Direct weekly Open Issues Tracking List to drive ownership of specific actions and responsible person Drive communication to assure both RPS and Eaton enterprise teams are aligned Verify proper information is provided - CAD, DWGs, Spec’s, Requirements Confirm quotes are completed, submitted, and understood Function as a High-Level lead to manage various cross-functional team projects Learn RPS products, capabilities and value add options Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum two (2) years of experience technical project or prgram management Experience working in Microsoft Excel Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation assistance is offered for this position. To be considered, candidates must be located within a 50 mile radius of Canton, MI or Southfield, MI. Active Military members are exempt from this geographical limitation. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Project Management experience in the automotive industry Position Criteria: Ability to travel as needed Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally and to influence without direct authority Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and computer skills (i.e. Power Point, Excel & Word) Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently Eaton considers qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with local laws.
