As a Technical Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and prepare technical descriptions of the applied products and technology to support the proposal process, for Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager I, you will perform analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs.

Your responsibilities

• Offering technical advice and providing comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers with regards to ABB products/systems/ applications
• Providing technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations
• Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs. Proposing technical solutions for complex enquiries
• Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues
• Offering product/solution/service-related training
• Preparing and checking technical articles for publication

Your background

• 3 years of working experience in sales support of packaging solutions, familiar with traditional manufacturing, food industry, industry robot
• Familiar with AutoCAD and another 3D design software
• A bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering, package & manufacturing automation with Logistic automation background
• Have excellent expression, communication, organization, coordination skills, teamwork
• Being able for business trips, team management experience is preferred
• Good English writing and speaking skills
