As a Biomedical sales support specialist, you will be responsible for working as robot healthcare application solution proposal engineer in ABB service robotics team, customizing automation solutions according to customer requirements. Must have a certain understanding of biotechnology industry, pharmaceutical industry and medical engineering industry, in Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager I, you will ensure that design and engineering comply with applicable codes, standards, practices and contractual requirements.

Your responsibilities

• Ensuring that design and engineering comply with applicable codes, standards, practices and contractual requirements
• Providing the customer with technical and experienced input and converting this information into a project quote with a reasonable quotation estimate
• Preparing system costing to support sales quotation
• Developing and maintaining customer relationship from technical aspect and performing other related sales support as required
• Conducting technical exchanges and answer their technical questions
• Formulating scientific research plan, promoting and turning it into intention

Your background

• 5 years of working experience in related industry
• Experience in lab automation industry and experience in robot automation industry is preferred
• A bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical / electrical automation / Robotics & Motion or related field
• Fluency in both oral & written English and Chinese / CET-4
• Good skill at AUTOCAD, 3D software etc.
• Good skill at Windows, office and etc.
• Must be customer oriented, teamwork in mind and strongly committed to achieve results
