As a Digital Sales Specialist you will be responsible for developing and managing a structured pipeline including customer visiting plan and build good relationships with decision makers of our customers, in Process Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be the ultimate responsible for the sales of Tekomar products.
Your responsibilities
- Generating, following up and successfully deliver on leads generated by yourself and Turbocharging’s sales organization
- Executing technical and commercial presentation of Tekomar products for new and existing products
- Being the commercial and technical contact for customers for Tekomar products in your assigned territory
- Acquiring and developing new business opportunities, report business trends observed in the industry. Assisting in developing a Strategic Sales Plan
- Collaborating with internal sources and specialists to resolve any customer issues
- Understanding the full range of services ABB Turbocharging provides for engine performance monitoring solutions and other products of the Tekomar portfolio
- Understanding commercial and technical terms of Tekomar offerings/deliveries. With an exceptional service orientation, you accomplish a high level of quality, enhancing value for our customers and represent ABB in the future-thinking Digital solutions
- Being prepared to travel about 50-70% of your working time
Your background
- 3 years of successful working experience in a Sales and/or Sales management and/or Customer support position
- Sound knowledge and experience in servicing/commissioning and / or operation of marine engines
- Access to decision makers in key companies in the respective field or ability to build up such relation ships
- A Bachelor or master’s degree in marine engine, mechanical, electrical engineering
- Active, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial person, eager to push the sales of Tekomar solutions in the Chinese market
- Perseverant and passionate to achieve the assigned sales target.
- Strong interest in a primarily travel based position such as excellent communication skills in Chinese and English combined with an accurate, well organized way of working
