Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
Be responsible for catalyst sales into Petrochemicals application in China market, and support sales manager for new market development.
Key responsibilities:
- To achieve sales budget.
- Manage sponge catalyst sales, include market development (new product and new application).
- Develop new opportunities for JM catalyst application in Petrochemical industry under supervision of Sales Manager.
- Manage the catalyst sales activities, include pre-sales promotion and technical liaison, contract negotiation, and after-sales service.
- To negotiate best commercial deal with the customers to best benefit JM interest, and makes commercial decisions within authorization.
- To look after existing and potential customers. Build strong relationship with the customers and well understand customer requirements.
- Provide basic technical service with the help from JM Technical Manager.
- Identify potential customers and follow up the opportunities technically and commercially,and change the opportunities to catalyst sales.
- Well understand market trend and customer requirements and communicate the information back to JM for new product and process development.
- Manage sponge catalyst sales and develop new catalyst application in petrochemical industry.
- Source catalyst from JM US and other JM oversea plants, and liaison with the plants for sales related issues.
- Liaison with JM US and JM China technical service team and provide technical service to customers in China.
- Market development.
Are you the ideal candidate?
- University education or above, in chemical engineering or chemistry
- Minimum 3 years work experience, and sales experience is a plus
- Experience in chemical industry is a must
- Very good communication skills
- Good commercial sense
- Highly responsible
