Initial starting position as Sales Manager with following responsibilities:
Identify and approach new potential customers, develop new accounts
Prepare quotations and supervise new business implementation
Act as escalation channel for shipment handling
Generate sales leads from overseas and follow up on incoming sales leads
Regularly report related KPIs and comply with the company’s sales strategy
Supervise payment status and take necessary actions to manage AR
After training, promotion to Branch Manager, if successful, within 6-9 months with the following responsibilities:
Manage, motivate and lead the air & sea freight operations team (with strong focus on Germany/Europe trade lane) after training
P&L responsibility for the branch (currently 3 staff members) after training
In charge of day to day operations & main escalation channel
Continued sales responsibility (client acquisition and maintenance)
Maintenance and development of agent, customer, master-/co-loader relationships
Negotiations with master-/co-loaders and carriers
Handling of general air and sea freight operations
Coordination between carriers, customers and oversea agents
Full set document handling and shipment arrangements
Job Requirements:
Fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese
Preferably 10 years+ in freight forwarding / logistics industry in similar roles and strong
operational background
Mature personality willing and able to lead
