Hospitality Applications Sales Representative – Hotel Solutions
As an Oracle Hospitality Sales Representative the applicant will be responsible for generating leads and revenue by selling Oracle Solutions and Services into the Hotel Sector.
The candidate must have the ability to communicate, sell and close business at all levels. Meet and exceed agreed sales and gross margin targets consistently.
Generate new business and ability to grow an extensive, qualified pipeline. Generate new business from current clients.
Account Management from current customers. Critical issues follow up with the internal departments.
She/he will have to manage the daily business with existing customers, generating new business and acting as a bridge between client and internal departments when required.
The successful candidate should come from a Corporate Sales background having provided IT solutions into the Hotel and Hospitality industry.
Key Tasks / Responsibilities to include:
Demonstrated experience and confidence in negotiating and closing sales
Manage, develop and maintain sales plans and processes within designated area of responsibility within business unit
Weekly and monthly reporting on sales forecasts
Keep up to date on all of Oracle Hospitality's products and services
Help support and provide all necessary information to the Marketing department
Ability to present and demonstrate competently at all levels
Strong Sales experience with a background in hunting for new business and account management.
Knowledge of software sales environments.
Very good knowledge of Hospitality business processes, ideally with the Hotel Industry within Spain.
Previous experience in international, structured environment.
Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years field sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications sales experience. Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
