Job Description
  • Meet the performance criteria as agreed by the Customer Service Manager.
  • Clear communication with customers by phone and/or email as required to support the sales process .
  • Process orders effectively. Ensuring all paperwork requirements are met .
  • Order confirmation and stock allocation to meet customer needs .
  • To resolve any issues that may arise between customers and the warehouse.
  • Manage customer expectations in the event of product shortfall or unavailability and notify purchasing in the event of unidentified shortfalls.
  • Ensure all returns are completed within a 2-week timeframe .
  • Process complaints and provide/request resolution where possible .
  • Support customers/account managers in provision of literature, images and samples to support all stages of the sales process .
  • Routinely gather customer feedback .
  • Ensure all procedures are up to date and any changes are logged
  • Work with account Managers to ensure smooth communication and working practices are being upheld.
  • Attend fortnightly catch ups with Sales Support Manager via Skype for Business
  • Attend monthly team meetings via Skype for Business


Requirements:

  • Written & Spoken English
  • Extensive experience Customer service function
  • Understanding of Export logistics
  • Appreciation of how a warehouse operates
  • Ability to interact across all levels of the business
  • Able to provide concise, accurate information in a timely manner
  • Computer literate and confident with the use of Microsoft Office applications (word, excel)
  • Comfortable working predominately on your own
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise workloads
  • Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Customer service or stock processing experience desirable
