Spanish company in the machinery industry for carboard packaging, established since 1970′s and based in Suzhou since 2014 is looking for a Sales Agent to join their Sales Department.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in sales, will be a motivated, well organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers as well as proactivity to research the market and looking for new opportunities.

As a Sales Agent you will report directly to the Sales Director in China.

Responsibilities

• Understand the product and processes and be able to offer to customers the best solution for their needs.
• Cold call new leads and prospects in order to get new projects.
• Be proactive in the market research and find the best way to approach the different type of customers.
• Identify opportunities for improvement of the current market research strategy.
• Meet individual quotas
• Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
• Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
• Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales
• Experience in cold call / Experience getting new customers
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Active and energetic person
• Experience in fresh food industry or cardboard industry (preferred)
• Results-oriented with proactivity to research new markets
• Deep understanding of CRM/ERP systems and best practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Chinese (Mandarin) mother tongue / Fluent in English (preferred)
• Driver license and own car will be a plus
• Availability to travel around 30% of the time
