A flexible role at just 8 hours per week, our Safety & Environment Officer position is ideal for a well organised administrator with an interest in Workplace Health & Safety. The role includes the coordination and administration relating to WHS, Risk and Environmental Management in our five star hotel.
Specific duties will include:
- Managing the online incident / accident reporting tool
- Attending the Health and Safety Committee meeting
- Supporting Department Heads and their teams with their WHS responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate and up to date records and reports
- Completing internal audits as required
- Co-ordinating sustainability events.
Work Experience
Previous experience in Health & Safety and / or within a Hotel environment is preferred.
You will need to be self-motivated, comfortable in working autonomously and managing your time effectively.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be competent in carrying out reporting and investigating duties.
