Purpose Statement:

CURRENT only sources from suppliers who comply with local laws and CURRENT standards in the areas of environment, health, and safety (EHS), security, employment, and human rights. (SRG program). The CURRENT way requires to protect employee’s safety and compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) laws that apply to our operations. This role is responsible for the implementation of both SRG and lab EHS management to drive overall risk reduction and maintain business sustainability.

Essential Functions:

• Perform Supplier Responsibility Guidance (SRG) audit with suppliers in Asia
• Communicate with suppliers and help/ follow up the audit findings for timely closure
• Review the finding and closure evidences periodically with related parties
• Lead EHS efforts for Current Shanghai site to ensure compliance with all regulations
• Develop and maintain the lab EHS G&Os
• Ensure key risks and compliance requirements related with EHS are identified, escalated and controlled in the operation
• Conduct EHS training and lab inspection periodically

Qualifications:

 Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Occupational health and Safety, Science and Engineering
• 3+ years experiences in EHS in manufacturing industry or third parties’ auditor of social responsibility
• Familiar with China EHS/labor regulations
• Fluent English in written and verbal communication
• Accept frequent travel

 Preferred

• Master’s degree
• Certified National Safety Engineer
