Our Team:

Data Intelligence team in Walmart China supports our merchandizing organization by building analytical tools and business intelligence solutions that enables them to be more efficient and effective with faster and better results. We are looking for highly motivated associates with strong technical knowledge coupled with a desire to work in an evolving retail environment to create a seamless and great shopping experience for our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collects, organizes, and validates data by data mining and trend analyses; utilizing multiple internal and external sources.
• Creates insightful business intelligence dashboards using the latest tools and technologies.
• Develops self-service tools for repeatable and customized needs of business teams.
• Researches and integrates relevant information and data, and uses expertise to make recommendations or decisions.

Education:

• Minimum Education Required - University 4-year degree/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Supply Chain, Retailing or related fields.
• Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering will be preferred.
• 2-4 years’ experience in Business Intelligence and Reporting
• Experience in Retail, CPG or consulting preferred
• Experience in SQL and relational databases, data warehousing and ETL Processes
• Solid Experience in visualization tools (For ex: Tableau, Cognos, Alteryx, Power BI)
• Knowledge of developing Excel / VBA tools
• Good command of English and local language
