General responsibilities:
- Live the company value and demonstrate the company culture.
- Act as an ambassador of JTT when dealing with external parties.
- Build up effective relations with local vendors and clients
Ensure the communication within the team is effective and promote team cohesiveness in day-to-day work
- Keep and improve team KPI together with team leader.
- Assist team leader/group leader in all aspects of her job and share the experience to all team members.
Specific responsibilities of the position:
- To execute the operation process according to SOP and client instruction within deadline for Damco
- Build effective relationship with local vendors by proactive engagements
- Continuously develop and improve the operations within the team, as well as supporting other team members
Ensure that the SOP and KPI requirements are met with minimum use of resources
- Ensure timely and accurate updating of JTT business systems
- Make suggestions to Supervisor on how to optimize our service by changing existing operation procedures.
- Ensure timely billing and no outstanding payments
- Proactively assist in solving challenges within customs clearance procedures, trucking, storage, etc.
- Actively come up with valued suggestion to our client to save client cost and improve client satisfaction even SOP no mention
- Have the “whole team” mind-set and ownership, can voluntarily support other team members task when exceptional case happens; share with others for operation knowledge and experience in weekly meeting
Be prepared to take on extra assignments as directed by Team Leader/Group Leader on ad- hoc basis
Develop relationship with the new shippers/consignees about the new client implementation.
Measurement / success criteria of the position:
- By the actions, initiatives and successful stories related to our core culture throughout the year
- By customer service survey result and comments from customers and vendors
- By KPI ratio of team both for Data & Document part and no penalty related to KPI
- No service failure in daily operation and productivity enhancement contribution
- By initiative assistance for project rollout.
