Synopsis:

As a Local English Teacher specifically for teenagers at EF Kids & Teens, you will join our academic team together with international teachers to deliver high quality IELTS/TOFEL/SAT related courses as well as to provide academic services to our students from 12-18 years old.

The role:

The Teacher position is an essential and key position in EF schools. The responsibilities mainly include preparing and delivering lessons, administering and reporting students’ learning progress, providing language & cultural consultancy and coordinating with other functions to maintain effective relations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and carry out lessons as assigned by the Teens Product Manager
• Correct, record and administer the results of mock tests and other assessments for students
• Feedback students’ progress and action plans to CC/PA in charge; if necessary, assist CC/PA to provide counsel to parents
• Assist in the placement testing and interviewing for new students enrollment

Requirements:

• Hold a master degree and a National Teacher Certificate or TEFL/CELTA certificate
• Command excellent English skills: IELTS7.0/TOEFL100
• Preferably have taken reasoning tests as SAT/ACT or GRE / GMAT
• Enjoy being with teens and passionate about education and culture industry
• Have over 2 years teaching experience to learners who are preparing to study overseas in IELTS/TOFEL/SAT related courses
• Must have 10-hour time slot available for EF each week
