Responsibilities include:

? Align budget, targets & key objectives for routes to be covered, primarily focusing on the China – SAOR Region route development
? Work with team to develop proposals which address the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
? Play a collaborative role in pricing the solutions/services offered to clients
? Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
? Present to, and consult with, mid- and senior-level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels
? Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels which will lead to increased sales
? Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
? Submit regular progress reports and ensure data is accurate
? Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within YLCN’s CRM and other management systems
? Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met for your area of responsibility
? Work with local sales team to prospect for potential new clients to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Identify potential clients, mapping out the decision makers within the client organisation
? Perform market research and build relationships with new clients
? Set up meetings between client decision makers and key internal stakeholders
? Plan approaches and pitches in collaboration with the Management and BD team members
Reporting, Continuous Improvement, Compliance:
? Prepare periodic reports for customers, management, as requested
? Prepare, implement and provide training on Trade Lane Tools of SAOR countries to China Sales team and continuously improving on easiness of usage based on sales team’s feedback
? Identify potential risks, manage accordingly, and develop contingency plans
? Use Kaizen approaches to implement continuous improvement practices in own domain
? Adhere to the YLTH Code of Conduct, and report any incidents or breaches of the Code to the relevant company contracts.
? Working according to the guidelines of the YLCN Anti-Bribery, Anti-Trust and applicable local laws and regulation policies.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
1-Tertiary qualifications (Degree or Diploma level) preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Freight Forwarding, Transport or a relevant discipline; or the equivalent combination of education and relevant commercial experience
2-Minimum of 3-5 years industry experience in Freight Forwarding/Supply Chain & Logistics/Transport
3-Proven track record in building professional customer relationships and business opportunities from new and existing customers
4- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present professionally to customers and industry professionals in one-on-one and group forum settings
5- Ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate successful business outcomes
6- Demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics and Transport businesses to provide credibility to presentations and interaction with clients and industry professionals
7-Proven ability to build rapport and promote professional working relationships with clients/stakeholders
8-Strong time management and planning skills
