Responsibilities

• To review the risk reports collected from Risk Owners, Risk Controllers, Business Unit Risk & Compliance Officers (“BURCO”) and Head of RMUs to identify the significant risk issues and to consolidate summary for review by the Head of Risk Governance Section for reporting.
• To assist the Head of Risk Governance Section to monitor, follow-up and report the implementation status of follow-up actions committed by Risk Management Division for the HKMA/ audit/ compliance review reports.
• To assist the Head of Risk Governance Section to review the regulatory compliance circulars received from Compliance Division and monitor the implementation status of regulatory compliance
• To summarize the findings of the regulatory examination reports and upload it to the CIP for reference by the Risk Controllers.
• To perform the risk control tasks and comply with the requirements set by the Risk Controllers of the relevant risk types
• To participate in the ERM promotion and be familiar with the ERM framework and regulatory requirement
• To comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
• To adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work

Requirements

• University graduate OR Relevant Professional Qualification AND
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Banking and Finance covering the following:
• At least 2 years in similar position
• Solid understanding in risk governance/ reporting
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese
